my hand is still not 100%. my ring finger is STILL completely numb. do you know how hard it is to cut glass with a numb finger on your dominant hand?? lol.

however....i finally had my first full day in the workshop, post surgery. been working on a boston portrait and this morning glory panel. i'm excited about it, the glass is stunning! this pic does NOT do it justice.

something for ME???

whenever i create something new, my friend michele asks me "is that for YOU or are you selling it?"
up to now, i've sold, traded or given away everything i've made. however....i have a project on my workbench that might end up staying here with me. details to follow. ;)

my workshop

i cleaned up my workshop since i can't do too much while my hand recovers from surgery. that's slow going, btw :(

so, i thought i'd show you where all the magic happens. pics are shown from left to right in my dungeon, i mean, basement.

the closet that works perfectly for hanging my various lengths/widths of lead came (as you can see, there is a bundle that needs to be sorted in there):


in this corner of the workshop, i have my lightbox (an old printer/copier that i hollowed out and put lights in), my glass grinder and a drawer unit for small glass pieces:


my cutting grid (white rectangle), my waste glass collecter (right behind the grid) and some of my tools for cutting:
